Valuable materials for your school-to-career partnerships! more >>
Johnson & Johnson established the Bridge to Employment program (BTE) to help young people build solid futures by introducing them to a broad array of careers in health care. The idea is to engage students through real world experiences to demonstrate that learning can be meaningful, engaging, and relevant to their future. By fostering long-term partnerships among businesses, educators, community-based organizations and parents, BTE helps prepare young people to meet the challenges and requirements of careers in the health care industry and in today's knowledge-rich society.

New Report on Lessons Learned from 10 Years of BTE!

For over a decade, the Johnson & Johnson Bridge to Employment initiative has sought to improve students' educational experiences by providing them with career development and work-based learning opportunities. A new publication describes program successes and outcomes, such as improved rates of enrolling in higher education among participating students and increased academic success and engagement. The report also provides seven key elements of a successful school-to-career partnership and offers recommendations for schools, businesses, and funding agencies wishing to undertake similar efforts.
