BTE Student Stories
Meet Eduardo Pardo and Miracle More! Eduardo Pardo and Miracle More are the 2019 Student Ambassadors from Trenton, New Jersey, USA.
Eduardo Pardo is a student from Trenton High School West Campus. Throughout his educational experiences, he has been a member of the yearbook club, served as Vice President at Model United Nations, participated in the Stock Market and Investment club, and participated in the Project SMILE Gear Up program. Eduardo’s favorite experiences from BTE are the Princeton Blairstown camping trip and SAT tutoring, which prepared him for the SAT exam. Furthermore, he appreciates how the BTE staff have gone above and beyond their duties to assist students.
Eduardo is interested in attending ABTS because…
“I am interested in attending ABTS because I want to gain more knowledge about STEM fields. Whenever I hear about the STEM field, it is usually about jobs but never really about what it takes to get a career in the STEM field. I’m also interested in learning about other students’ mindsets outside of Trenton. I’m interested if other students have different plans after high school besides a four-year college and what possible job choices they are considering.”
Miracle is a student at Trenton High School West Campus. Currently, Miracle serves as Secretary in Model United Nations. She is also an active member of the Yearbook Club and Girl’s Track and Field team. Last year, Miracle received a paid internship at Trenton Daily where she worked with a team of writers to create articles and online publications. The BTE experience has helped Miracle build great friendships and gave her insight on different career paths. Miracle believes the ABTS conference will help her gain new perspectives and push her outside of her comfort zone.
Miracle is interested in attending ABTS because…
“I enjoy chasing experiences that will help me gain new perspectives and teach me new lessons. I’m interested in ABTS because I know the event will introduce me to new people and push me way out of my comfort zone.”
