BTE Student Stories
Lihi is a Student Ambassador from Yokneam, Israel. While representing her community at ABTS 2018, she learned about Intercultural Fluency, and practiced her new skills while working on an international team of students to produce a STEM2D activity during the ABTS Challenge. The activity was meant to encourage students to study STEM2D fields. At the end of the conference, Lihi earned a digital badge in intercultural fluency. My Favorite BTE memory is…
My favorite BTE memory is the first night in Lisbon at ABTS, because it felt like I was with my family. I have never been happier than when I was with all those kids.
To me, BTE has meant…
To me, BTE has meant a dream come true. It’s taught me that I can accomplish my dreams and given me things that I will remember for the rest of my life.
The most important thing I will take away from BTE is…
The most important thing I will take away from my time in BTE is that I’ve learned to ask more questions to learn more about other people, and to make connections with other people.
I wanted to come to ABTS because…
I hoped ABTS would give me more exposure to the medical world at a young age. BTE has boosted my confidence and helped me with math. I went from 3 points to 4 points in math class thanks to the private lessons in math that Biosense offered us
