The August 2018 #B2ESiteSpotlight was on BTE-Leeds, a UK BTE site!
The Leeds program kicked-off in 2016. Johnson & Johnson mentors from DePuy Synthes Companies, staff from Young Enterprise, and #B2E students work together to explore College and Career Readiness.
DePuy Synthes Companies volunteers worked with #B2E students on their resume and interview skills using the STAR storytelling method (“Situation, Task, Action, Result”) taught by Young Enterprise
Students visited a DePuy Synthes Companies distribution center to learn about the various parts of a successful company and STEM2D careers.
Students further explored STEM2D through the lens of CSI at Think Forensic by putting these concepts in action to solve challenging simulated crimes.
