BTE Student Stories
BTE-Bound Brook is our #B2ESiteSpotlight for May 2018!
BTE-Bound Brook kicked off in 2017. At the kick-off Bound Brook students participated in hands-on activities to develop critical thinking skills via an Escape Room and to learn about Supply Chain Management via a Lego Workshop.
In April 2018, BTE-Bound Brook students visited Ethicon, a Johnson and Johnson company, to learn about Ethicon’s products and various STEM careers. This hands-on activity allowed the students to use tools such as surgical staplers and wound closure products used for sealing human tissue. Students asked questions about STEM career paths to a panel of J & J employees.
BTE Bound Brook students participated in a sterile activity offered by Raritan Valley Community College’s Nursing faculty on October 18, 2017 at the high school. The students learned the importance of being germ free when interacting with patients.
