Day 2 was an exciting day full of learning workshops, site showcases, role alikes, speed networking opportunities and more! A variety of virtual engagement showcase presentations were held by BTE and community partners. These presentations included sessions on Engaging Students & Stakeholders Using Social Media & LinkedIn, Liberty Science Center’s Live From Surgery, Youth E-Learning Modules & Digital Badging, and the Cotton Ball Catapult Competition. Role Alikes were held with BTE Champions, Site Coordinators, and Secondary School partners. Site Meetings were also held with Year 2 and Year 3 sites, which gave space for sites in the same implementation year to share and learn from one another. Johnson & Johnson Vice President of Human Resources Diverse Workforce Solutions, Brandi Marsh, presented on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion initiatives within Johnson & Johnson and shared how the BTE program can support these efforts. An optional Chew & Chat was held with this year’s BTE Student Ambassadors, which focused on stories of resiliency from the lens of today’s youth. Site Spotlights were also held, which featured Company Engagement: Supply Chain & Cupcakes (BTE Helsingborg, Sweden), YOLO: You Only Live Once (BTE Tswelopele, South Africa), and Virtual Applied Learning Project: Making Soap (BTE Orange County, California, USA). The final team meeting with the EMEA region was also held. Optional Speed Networking opportunities were held with all global BTE partner volunteers, as well as all global BTE youth participants.
