“I am looking forward to meeting new people at ABTS. Just thinking about talking to BTE students from around the world excites me. Some of the other sites I saw on the ABTS application are in places that I would love to visit when I get older, so engaging in a conversation with people my age from those areas and talking about their cultures would be fascinating. I also believe I can learn a great deal from networking with the people there.”
Viridiana is a rising junior at New Brunswick High School. She has contributed to the Student Council and serves on the BTE executive board as Vice President. Viridiana is also a member of the STEM club and has participated in serval New Brunswick High School events such as the Fashion and Talent Show. Viridiana’s most memorable BTE moments are the popsicle bridge competition, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) college tour, visiting Johnson & Johnson’s World Headquarters, and the Princeton University tour.

“I want to share with others information about my BTE cohort and what New Brunswick has to offer. I feel as if we forget all the good in New Brunswick and all it has to offer. New Brunswick is full of culture, and I hope to share that with my BTE peers from around the world!”
