Congratulations to 2020 BTE graduate, Mayra!

What are your plans after graduation?

I am planning to go to Temple University to study bioengineering.

What is your favorite BTE memory?

My favorite memory is when we got to tour the lab for the first time.

What are you looking forward to the most after graduation?

I’m looking forward to the ceremony that rewards me for all the effort I put in for the last 12 years.

Who would you like to recognize from your BTE journey?

I appreciate Erica for always providing us with opportunities and making sure we had the right experiences to make the best decisions for us. Not only does she find those opportunities, like volunteering positions, but she also coordinates our trips and events whenever we meet. I also appreciate Tara since she is constantly offering her support and other volunteer programs within BTE.
And lastly, I want to thank Mel for being a great team leader ever since I joined Group 1. Because I’ve been part of this group for the entirety of BTE, the chemistry with the group members for sure impacted how I experienced BTE.
