Johnson & Johnson’s 2012 Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability Highlights Report features three BTE-Paranaque, Philippines graduates – Febe Bico, Aizel May Dizon and Melanie Lanticse. Currently approaching graduation from the University of the Philippines Manila-School for Health Sciences (UPM-SHS) in Palo, in Leyte province and planning to give back to their community, the alumni were inspired to pursue midwifery degrees by the BTE program plan. “For Febe, she saw the BTE experience paving the way to
higher education in the Philippines, where she could continue to work in her community, rather than leave the country.”
