BTE Student Stories
This past quarter, the BTE Buenos Aires program focused on deepening students’ self-awareness and practical skills for entering the workforce. Students spent over 60 hours at workshops and personalized mentoring sessions. These individual meetings allowed the team to understand each student’s unique challenges, interests, and future goals.
Responding to student interest, the BTE Buenos Aires program offered two robotics workshops that sparked enthusiasm and built on prior learning. Many participants demonstrated strong retention of concepts from previous years, highlighting their interest and commitment.

In May and June workshops, students focused on developing and refining their resumes. For many students, this was their very first time creating a CV. Through guided sessions, they learned to identify their skills and experiences by creating digital resumes and becoming familiar with essential tools like email for professional communication. These workshops laid a critical foundation for future career exploration and development.
A highlight of the quarter was the kick-off event with Johnson & Johnson volunteers, which combined teambuilding games, collaborative activities like creating vision boards, and social time that allowed students to bond with mentors. For several volunteers new to the program, it was a valuable opportunity to engage with students and begin building relationships. Despite some minor challenges due to national holidays and unexpected facility issues, the program remained flexible and focused, successfully meeting its objectives while continuing to support students through change.
Overall, this quarter represented a critical step in BTE Buenos Aires students’ journey toward professional readiness – strengthening their confidence, expanding their skillsets, and laying the groundwork for future workplace development and success!
