In September 2022, Johnson & Johnson Czech Republic with JA Czech Republic, SOŠ & SOU Hlinky Beroun, SŠ a VOŠ, Nový Zlíchov, and Automobile & Informatics Prague Hostivar launched a Bridge to Employment program in Prague, Czech Republic.
The three-year BTE program is targeting students from three vocational schools: SOŠ & SOU Hlinky Beroun, SŠ a VOŠ, Nový Zlíchov, and Automobile & Informatics Prague Hostivar. Twenty students will be recruited from each vocational school. The BTE program will provide a variety of academic enrichment, career exploration, and higher education preparation opportunities to increase the number of young people completing higher education and pursuing STEM careers. Specific program activities and support will be implemented throughout each program year to ensure students meet the designed yearly short-term outcomes.
The three-year BTE-Prague, Czech Republic program targets 20 grade 10 students enrolled in either SOŠ & SOU Hlinky Beroun, SŠ a VOŠ, Nový Zlíchov, or Automobile & Informatics Prague Hostivar secondary school. The three-year program will provide a variety of academic enrichment, career exploration, and higher education preparation opportunities in order to increase the number of young people completing higher education and pursuing STEM careers. Specific program activities and support will be implemented throughout each program year to ensure students meet the designed yearly short-term outcomes.

By June 2025, the BTE-Prague, Czech Republic program anticipates achieving the following End-of-Grant outcomes:
90% of BTE participants will understand entrepreneurial thinking as a means to leader their lives.
50% of BTE participants will apply for further education.
50% BTE participants will be admitted to an institution of higher education or to 2-year institution for additional study.
60% BTE graduates plan to pursue a career in the STEM2D field.
85% of BTE participants acquired key work readiness and soft skills.
70% of BTE participants exhibit youth leadership
70% of BTE students are engaged in the BTE program.
