In September 2022, Johnson & Johnson Czech Republic with JA Czech Republic, SOŠ & SOU Hlinky Beroun, SŠ a VOŠ, Nový Zlíchov, and Automobile & Informatics Prague Hostivar launched a Bridge to Employment program in Prague, Czech Republic. The three-year BTE program targeted students from three vocational schools: SOŠ & SOU Hlinky Beroun, SŠ a VOŠ, Nový Zlíchov, and Automobile & Informatics Prague Hostivar. Twenty students were recruited from each vocational school. The BTE program provided a variety of academic enrichment, career exploration, and higher education preparation opportunities to increase the number of young people completing higher education and pursuing STEM careers. Specific program activities and support were implemented throughout each program year to ensure students met the designed yearly short-term outcomes Key activities included:
