The company won the first ever Community Engagement category – one of three new categories at the prestigious awards. Competing against GlaxoSmithKline and Ingenza Ltd, LifeScan Scotland caught the judges’ eyes for its development of the Johnson & Johnson Bridge to Employment program in the Highlands and Islands.
Willie Printie, managing director, said: “I was honoured to pick up this award on behalf of LifeScan Scotland. As one of the biggest private employers in the region it is essential that we work in partnership with other private, public and third sector organisations to offer educational programmes and opportunities to our local community.”
