Congrats to 2020 BTE graduate, Gianni!

What are your plans after graduation?

I am planning to study Business Administration.

What is your favorite BTE memory?

My favorite Bridge to Employment memory would have to be when we took a trip to New York City to see the Broadway version of “Aladdin.” It was an absolutely amazing and fulfilling day, as we were able to learn some theatre skills hands-on before seeing the show. We danced, sang, acted, and interacted with one another in a welcoming environment. We even had time to get food and souvenirs! I have to say, my favorite part about the trip was actually getting there. Our group always has a good time on the bus, and I feel like that’s a time when we’re all closely connected.

What are you looking forward to the most after graduation?

I’m currently heavily anticipating enrolling in university. I’ve thought about my first day of college for as long as I can remember. I look forward to sharing my experiences with my friends (everyone in my BTE group) and mentors, and vice versa.

Who would you like to recognize from your BTE journey?

I would really love to thank Mrs. Dent. She has helped me through so much in not only BTE, but personal things as well. She has done nothing but support me and help me to do what’s best for myself. There’s no exaggeration when I say that she is someone who deserves every good thing that comes her way. Throughout my years of high school, I have never met a person who has supported me the way she has. Mrs. Dent, THANK YOU.
