Celebrating Youth Innovation in R&D
A Virtual Panel in Celebration of International Women’s Day

Watch the live panel here:

Every year on March 8, the world celebrates International Women’s Day, a global recognition of progress made and progress still to come in gender equality and women’s rights.

The Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design (WiSTEM²D) Youth Program aims to shape a more equal future for women and girls by cultivating girls’ interest in STEM²D from an early age and helping them grow and develop in these areas. Female role models can be crucial to girls sticking with STEM²D pathways.

In observance of this year’s International Women’s Day on March 8, the J&J WiSTEM²D Youth Program is featuring the results of last year’s Global Innovation Challenge. The winning video from that competition demonstrates the girls’ creativity, curiosity, determination, excellence, and love of learning. Watch them tackle concept, research, design, prototype, testing, and manufacture!

FHI 360 will host an online live event that will screen their video in its entirety. This will be followed by a discussion panel around the competition, the selection process, the achievement, their particular experience, and that of the employee volunteers or judges who helped with the event. Follow the Live Event on our Facebook.
