BTE featured at Scottish Government Curriculum Launch
October/29/2009

The Scottish Government launches the fourth stage of its ‘building the curriculum,’ which moves away from categorizing learning as specifically academic or vocational -- focusing instead on the knowledge and skills all young people need. Held at Johnson & Johnson Medical, The Minister for Schools & Skills, Keith Brown, and officers from different divisions of the Government's education department attended the launch, which featured the BTE-Livingston, Scotland, an innovative partnership with West Lothian College and Inveralmond Community High School that serves as a model for new curriculum.
